An antique 1/4th plate daguerreotype photograph depicting a young man in a dark suit and cravat. The image retains its brass mat and cover glass. The gilt wood frame is a replacement, made in-house, as the original leatherette case was damaged beyond repair. The original red velvet pillow with embossed leaf motif is preserved on the verso of the frame.
